We're proud to announce our inclusion in the 2011 Communication Arts Typography Annual
WireMedia's logo design for non-profit client Nostrand Park was selected to appear in Communication Arts magazine's 2011 Typography Annual, featuring the best typography of the year from entries around the world.WireMedia created a custom design of the words "Nostrand Park" based on the concept of "intersections" because the name Nostrand Park is derived from the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Park Place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn — a diverse neighborhood where very different cultures also intersect. Part of a larger branding and design project, Nostrand Park needed a unifying identity that would capture Crown Heights' rich and culturally diverse historical legacy.
WireMedia teamed up with Nostrand Park through desigNYC, an innovative program that links design firms with qualified non-profits in need of design services.

View the Nostrand Park project in our portfolio, and the winning logo on the Communication Arts website (if you log in), or in the Jan/Feb 2011 printed issue of Communication Arts, on page 140.
