DESCRIPTION: WireMedia seeks a talented and responsible intern to assist with client projects as needed. Duties include ongoing website maintenance, occasional design of web pages and web page elements, and possible print design/production (depending on experience). You will have the opportunity to do a variety of types of work. This is also an opportunity for hands-on experience at a level you likely won't get with larger firms.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have the following: ability to hand-code HTML, understanding of CSS, experience designing web pages or web page elements (such as buttons, animated gifs, etc.), proactive attitude, and an interest in learning more about web design and development in general. You must have solid experience using Photoshop, know how to FTP files, and be familiar with working on a Mac.
Self-motivation in a work-at-home environment, attention to detail and ability to follow directions and to meet deadlines are EXTREMELY important. A good business manner and professional attitude is imperative. You must be very professional, dependable, and accessible via phone, email and IM.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have the following: good understanding of the marketing mix, familiarity with online and offline marketing tactics, ability to quickly find relevant and reliable information online via search, and an excellent and proactive problem-solving ability. You must have good writing skills, should know how to FTP files, and ideally be familiar with working on a Mac (although PC is ok too).
